Knowledge management is the ability to harness and leverage all of an organisation's intellectual and information assets to create and enhance its value. This involves a cycle of "creating, capturing, sharing and leveraging" the various forms of strategic data, information and knowledge within an organisation. It encompasses the processes, procedures, systems and skills associated with turning knowledge into sustainable value.
